We are delighted to announce that our annual general meeting will be held on March 2-5, 2020 in Hotel Mielparque Matsuyama, Ehime, Japan. → Cancelled

—–

As you know, the Japan government has announced that the coronavirus spreading is now in a serious stage in Japan and our actions in the next one or two weeks are the key to reduce its spreading rate and prevent the infection from pandemic. The government additionally says that to do this, events scheduled in this period should be reconsidered as much as possible. The LOC and headquarter of the CMC project have discussed this situation most carefully and placed a conclusion that it is difficult to have our Annual Meeting as scheduled. We are very sorry but we have to announce that all the program of the Annual Meeting has been canceled. This is a really difficult decision but we hope you may understand. In the moment, nothing is determined about an alternate one in the near future, but we will try having something in Matsuyama in the next FY after the infection subsides. We will make announcements again when anything is determined.

If it is too late to cancel your trip for the Annual Meeting, please let us know (seika_loc =at= core-mantle.jp or shiraishi =at= core-mantle.jp). We are planning to prepare for some places in Ehime Univ. where you can stay and work during March 2-5. Also feel free to contact us if you have any query related to this decision.
